Flow, Function, and Form

MomThought.com Episode #140

Welcome to MomThought. I’m Joan Romero at MomThought.com. Thank you for joining me today.

Today’s MomThought is: flow, function, and form.

I’d like to talk about organizing your space. When you think about what space you would like to organize, I would like to suggest that you consider your flow, your function, your form. When I say flow I mean how do you do things? What do you want to use this space for and how can you do that seamlessly and easily.

Second your function. Is it functional? Is the easy to find what you need to find, when you need to find it. Is everything you need there in place?

Third, is the form. How does it look? Does it look good? Can you find the things that you want to find and also have the space look the way you want it to look?

So consider that, next time that you’re looking at your house, a room, or just the corner of a room or just a closet. Is there flow? Is there ease? Is their function? Does it work? And is their form? Is it taking the form you’d like it to have? Because by having these three elements as you look at how you’re organizing your space around you, you’ll find that it becomes easier to do the things that you need to do in your space. Which makes it then easier to free yourself up.

You will have more time more energy to do the other things would like to do because your space is working with you and not against you. To share your MomThoughts go to MomThought.com or call 206-350-3037. Thank you.
